Although masturbation does not pose a serious health risk, it does not mean that you can do it too often.
Certainly, there is a low risk. It is the safest form of sex. No one has ever had an STI on their own or made themselves pregnant through masturbation, but it is also a low-risk activity that you should be concerned about.
Regular or intense masturbation can cause minor skin irritation. Forcing the penis on the head or ejaculating too often can cause problems with the blood system in the penis area, causing serious health problems. In women, too, it can cause inflammation or swelling of the vagina.
Some doctors have found that in some men, after vigorous masturbation, then their penis looks like a soft eggplant. It is purple and swollen. Some men need surgery to repair and treat.
